• Contact Your State & Local Legislators. Tell them  that 75 percent of Americans (including 66% of Republicans, 85% of Democrats, and 70% of Independents) back a constitutional amendment that limits Big Money in politics by allowing Congress and the states to regulate campaign finance. (Polling by Voice of the People and the University of Maryland School of Public Policy’s program for Political Consultation. (Full poll here)
   

• Ask them to do something specific about big & dark money/campaign finance reform/transparency.

  • If there is a current bill that helps, ask them to support & vote for it.

  • If they are an author or sponsor, thank them!

  • Contact them by phone, email or actual written letter (most effective). Most have websites. Many are on Facebook. If you call, you may reach them or their staffers, who are excellent and will tell their legislators.
