The groups above are nonpartisan and the main ones with which we work, in Michigan and beyond. We and they are focused on getting big & dark money out of politics, campaign finance reform, and a 28th Amendment to counter Citizens United, et al.
While some of those below include campaign finance reform in their goals, the are also democracy movements. Since reclaiming our democracy is in our name, we acknowledge and support them, and we often cooperate with each other.
We're all in this together.
Like AP above, Move to Amend is a large national group, also focused on a 28th Amendment.

SUMMARY: Formed in September 2009, Move to Amend is a coalition of hundreds of organizations and hundreds of thousands of individuals committed to social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and building a vibrant democracy that is genuinely accountable to the people, not corporate interests.
We are calling for the #WeThePeopleAmendment to the US Constitution that unequivocally states that inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns.
Common Cause has an innovative, pragmatic, and comprehensive pro-democracy agenda. Our work leads and defines the democracy reform movement, promoting solutions already succeeding in some communities to shift power to the people and away from wealthy special interests and partisan ideologues.

"Our Mission is to assure that our government will treat all Americans with equality and acceptance.
We believe that every citizen’s vote should carry equal weight and that all citizens should have unimpeded access to voting. We believe there must be laws that protect all citizens from harassment and discrimination and that these laws must be applied and enforced equally. We believe race, religion, national origin, gender identity, sexual preference, geographic location, political affiliation, age, skin color, or physical ability can not be the basis for discrimination in legislation or in any government-run or government-supported service or agency."
